WANTED: EMPLOYEE DRIVERS AND CONTRACT HAULIERS

A vital part of our business is transporting materials from where are sourced to where they are needed by our customers, as well as removing unwanted materials for reuse or recycling. GRS therefore works with hundreds of drivers nationwide - either as direct employees or as contract hauliers.

(1) Employed driving opportunities

GRS operates a fleet of trucks delivering our materials on flatbeds and tippers to building sites, merchants and retailers. (2) Independent Contact Hauliers

GRS Trading is supported by a nationwide network of independent hauliers, selected to operate in accordance with our continuously improving standards of safety, sustainability and customer service.

There are multiple advantages of working as an independent contract partner and many of our contractors have enjoyed the benefits of continued loyalty to GRS as the business has grown.

Driving for GRS also brings with it responsibility - these are summarised in our Independent Haulier Handbook. In it we outline the primary responsibilities of anyone driving for GRS as an independent haulier, a subcontracted haulage company, or an employee or contract driver of an independent company. Subjects covered include health and safety, driving and the law, the GRS values, delivery procedures, administration and processing.
