An experienced team sits on the GRS Group Board:
Martin Hill – Chairman
Martin joined the roadstone business in 1985 as a sales co-ordinator. He quickly moved on to become a Sales Representative for Northamptonshire and then Field Sales Manager and main Board Director for the Midlands region within five years.
Jon Fisher – Chief Executive Officer
Jon joined in 1997 as a sales co-ordinator for East London based at Kings Cross. He then moved on to become Sales Representative for that area before being appointed to the role of Regional Manager for London and South East. He joined the GRS board in 2007 as Southern Regional Director and, after leading a management buyout in 2012, went on to take up the role of CEO.
Antony Beamish – Managing Director, GRS Trading
Antony joined the company in 2002 as a sales co-ordinator for Hertfordshire based at Houghton Regis. He then held several positions including regional sales and business development. In 2008 he was appointed Regional Manager for London and South East, and joined the board in 2012 as Regional Director before taking on the MD role for GRS Trading.
Lee Hudson – Managing Director, GRS Building Products
Lee joined the business in 1999 as an internal sales co-ordinator for the GRS merchants’ division. He worked closely with the senior management team over the years developing the GRS loose aggregates and packed products businesses. In 2014 he was appointed to the board, becoming responsible commercially for GRS Bagging, and more recently took on responsibility for production and logistics.
Ilija Radomilovic – Group Commercial Director
Ilija joined GRS Roadstone in 1985 as a transport controller for the East Midlands. He then moved into sales with a wider brief across the Midlands and South East, concentrating on major projects. Ilija joined the board in 2007 as Sales Director and is now Group Commercial Director with responsibility for developing our involvement in major infrastructure schemes.
Martin Reid - Group Chief Finance Officer
Martin has over 20 years' experience in the building materials sector. After starting his career with two major accounting firms then a stint with Rolls Royce, he joined Lafarge in 1996. He held senior positions in finance, strategy and business development, including three years as a JV Director of GRS Bagging. From 2010 he took up international roles in France, the Philippines and UAE, before returning to the UK to join GRS as Group CFO in 2016.
Martin Riley – Senior Vice President, Tarmac
Martin has 30 years' experience in the heavy materials industry. He spent the first part of his career at Tilcon, where he held a number of management positions. After Tilcon became part of Tarmac he took on several senior roles including general manager and executive director looking after Tarmac’s aggregates and asphalt businesses. Martin is currently Senior Vice President of Tarmac, now part of the CRH group.
Dyfrig James – Non-Executive Director
Dyfrig joined Redland in 1994 where he served in several senior positions and, after Lafarge's takeover in 1998, became MD for Aggregates in 2003. He was then Regional President for Northern & Central Europe from 2007 to 2011, responsible for business in 10 countries with a turnover of €1.4bn. From 2012 as CEO of Lafarge UK he was instrumental in the formation of Lafarge-Tarmac . He has been involved with GRS for 30 years and joined the board in 2014 to support its ambitious growth plans. Dyfrig is a strong advocate of improving health and safety and a passionate believer in the construction industry's contribution to a sustainable world.
